More than 40 members of the Macedonian American Alumni Association (MAAA) and other alumni of U.S. Educational Exchange programs joined a discussion with Ambassador Wohlers at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Skopje. This was a good opportunity to highlight the importance of educational exchange programs and the future of MAAA as an umbrella association for more than 1,000 alumni of U.S. Educational Exchange Programs.

“We at the U.S. Embassy consider our exchange program alumni to be among the most important people in Macedonia, because you are our partners in building bridges of mutual understanding between the people of Macedonia and the people of the United States,” said Ambassador Wohlers in his remarks.
