YES Alumni Macedonia organized an annual Drawing Competition for elementary school children and Essay Competition for high school students to honor International Education Week. The contests were opened to students from all over Macedonia.

In November, alumni organized the competition for the fifth time and had amazing feedback. More than 340 drawings and 70 essays were entered in the competitions. There were a number of extraordinary submissions.
The children made drawings on the topic “Different Cultures in the World” and the high school students wrote essays on the topic “Our Differences Unite Us.” They managed to reach a large number of students and communities from every region of Macedonia, and in a way made people open their minds and think about these thought-provoking topics that concern our society.
