On November 17th, “Ora News”, one of the most prestigious television stations in Albania, hosted YES ’11 alumnae Ilva Hamzaj and Kristina Marku on their Morning Show. The Morning Show’s Kozeta Marku asked the alumnae about their experiences with the YES program, from the criteria to be an applicant, to their experiences in the U.S. and the overall purpose of the exchange program.
“Being on TV is always a pleasure to me, but this time was special,” explained Hamzaj, who has made several television appearances as a talented young singer. “I didn’t feel nervous and I tried to give a clear and understandable answer to all the questions I was asked.”
After the interview, the host presented each student a DVD of the show.
