Saranda Qunaku, YES Kosovo ’11
In November, we YES alumni in Kosovo held our yearly activity at SOS Children’s Village in Pristina, much beloved by the children and alumni alike. We helped the children there to make Christmas and New Year’s cards for each other, for staff, and also for those at the School of Children with Special Needs in the city of Mitrovica. This was an activity during which the both children and we alumni had a lot of fun.
In honor of International Day for Persons with Disabilities in December, YES alumni will visit the School of Children with Special Needs in mid-December and present them the with the cards made for them by the kids at SOS Children’s Village. Alumni will also spend time with the children at the school, playing games and watching films.
