From the trash that the students of Gostivar High School collected, I had the idea to make a Trash Fashion show, showing how so many things could be reused instead of simply thrown out.  20 local girls, with a lot of support from their English teachers, and I decided to design and make dresses from recycling materials.

After long and hard work, the designs finally became real, and at the end, we had a fashion show where judges picked out the best dress.  The materials that were used for the clothes were cans, snack bags, bottle caps, CDs, and more.

We are planning to do this event again next year and, in doing so, continuing to raise awareness amongst youth about the importance of recycling.
