I have been volunteering at the Children’s Theatre of Republika Srpska located in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina this year. The Acting School is housed in the Theatre and currently actress Bozana Bijelic is directing a play for the 10 students who attend.  I have been serving as the Assistant Director and I occasionally hold classes for the students independently. I have volunteered every Friday starting in October 2012 and intend to continue until May 2013.

Even though this can sometimes be a time-consuming activity, especially when I plan my own classes, I enjoy it very much. I love working with the students because they have great energy and enthusiasm and I try to help them improve and learn new things. We like to have fun too, of course, and on November 2, we had a Halloween party. You can see from the photo of the students how creative and artistic they are!
